DICTATION INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: The preferred documentation method is Dragon or Epic Tools within the Epic Application.
In the rare instance you would need to use full dictation, please see the 3 approved worktypes below.
- Dial 833-296-7053.
- Enter site ID – 40#
- Enter Provider ID, followed by the # key.
- Enter worktype, followed by the # key.
- 501 = Transfer Summary
- 502 = Preoperative H&P
- 506 = Operative Report
- Enter Patient Acct. Number (CSN Number), followed by the # key.
- Press 2 to begin dictation. Please state patient name and DOB.
- When complete: Press 8 to end report and start new one or press 5
to end report/disconnect.
KEYPAD FUNCTIONS – NOTE: These are different
1 = Pause Places your dictation on hold for up to 5 minutes.
2 = Record/Pause Press “2” to record or pause dictation.
3 = Rewind Rewinds dictation 5 seconds.
4 = Fast Forward Fast forwards dictation 5 seconds. To stop, press “3”.
5 = Disconnect Disconnects you.
7 = Play from Beginning Takes you to the beginning of your dictation.
8 = End Report/Start New Ends dictation and prompts you for the next worktype.
