Welcome to the Columbia St. Mary's Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program website. Our program is a CPME approved 36-month Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery, providing excellence in training in the field of foot and ankle pathology. The mission of our program is to provide a sound foundation of academic, clinical, and surgical education and training. The program has been developed with an emphasis on an interactive multidisciplinary approach to lower extremity disorders.

Columbia St Mary's realizes the importance of education in preparing the future leaders of medical professions. Our training resources provide a multidisciplinary approach to medical education that is challenging and rewarding. Our Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program gives individuals the opportunity to learn in an innovative, educational environment, knowing each person will continue to help others in the future. We continue to strive to provide our community and region with the highest level of foot and ankle care possible. We expect our residents to get the vast experience they need to be successful contributors to the future of Podiatry medicine and surgery.

General Program Information

The Columbia St. Mary's Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program (PMSR) with added credential in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery is a CPME approved 36 month residency program.  CSM will offer each resident the education and experience necessary to achieve their career goals. As an organization, Columbia St. Mary's is committed to the core values of Respect, Commitment to Excellence, Integrity, Creativity, and Service. Toward that end, the CSM Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency program expects that all residents shall conduct themselves in accordance with the Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program Code of Conduct. Additionally, the Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program Code of Ethics is designed to promote individual responsibility, integrity, and professionalism and to promote an atmosphere conductive to proper maturation and development of the podiatry resident.
